Use insecticides on their identified colonies.

Remove promptly heaps of hair, dead insects and any other material that acts as food for the insects,

Examine freshly cut flowers for adult bees.

Clean rugs, upholstery, carpets and curtains regularly where the beetles are likely to be residing.

Regular vacuuming to remove eggs, larvae and adult beetles.

Use sticky traps and pheromone attractants. Pheromone traps are ideal in cases of sexual isolation. These should be placed on floors on their paths or on window sills to attract the adults. These compounds are easily available at pest stores.
Destruction of fabrics and garments.

Occasionally they feed on stored food products like grains and fruits.
